HTML5 Seminar Announced at the upcoming 2012 National Web Design Contest Kansas City, MO
“HTML5 Demystified” will be the topic of the seminar presented by Mark DuBois, WebProfessionals.org Director of Education. This one hour seminar focuses on HTML5 and why it is becoming more important to understand, and even put to use. As the open standard for Web applications, HTML5 takes markup to a new level, requiring Web developers and designers to re-examine the way they’ve worked in the past to make their designs more responsive to mutlicscreen enviorments.
Presented by Professor Mark DuBois, WebProfessionals.org Director of Education this seminar helps to demystify HTML5 as well as provide actual insight into how to begin using aspects of the language today. There is no charge for this seminar as WebProfessionals.org. is underwriting the event.

The HTML5 Webinar takes place immediately following the National Web Design Contest Cindy Li, Yahoo’s Staff Product Designer Keynote taking place on Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 3-4 pm at room 2211 Bartle Hall Downtown Kansas City.
